The AMPA & Shakespeare Martineau Muslim network is delighted to announce the much-anticipated return of our #FastWithUs event for Ramadan 2024! This year, we're doing things a little differently - adding a charitable element to our initiative.

We are asking our colleagues who are fasting with us on 20 March 2024, to donate what they would have spent on lunch/coffee to The Mbabzi School Partnership. Colleagues, friends and family can also sponsor the fast and support a great cause.

The Mbabzi School Partnership is a small family run charity, ran by SHMA's very own Alex Knapp, and is dedicated to changing the lives of young people at Mbabzi, Malawi, through education.

The charity provides secondary school scholarships to students who are doing well at school but can’t afford a secondary education. They also work with Mbabzi Primary School to improve their school facilities.

The charity ensures that 100% of every donation goes directly to their projects.

This will be a fantastic way to make a positive impact, and we are extending the invitation to everyone across the group to join us in this meaningful initiative!
