About Us
Firstly, thank you for visiting our page and taking the time to read this.
For those who don’t know us, James and I (Chris) were both born and raised in Buckinghamshire. Over the last 10 years we’ve built an electrical business providing services throughout the surrounding areas.
The continued support we’ve received from the local community has helped Amp'd Up Electrical grow as a business, and because of that we believe it's important to give something back.
With this in mind, “Amping Up Our Community” was created — an ongoing initiative where we support charities that make a real difference in our local area.
Why This Matters
We’ve chosen to support Bucks Activity Project, a charity that does incredible work helping children and young people with disabilities and additional learning needs across Buckinghamshire.
They provide safe spaces, activities, and opportunities that many young people might otherwise never have access to. The work they do has a huge impact on the lives of families in our community, and we’re proud to support them.
Like many charities, their work relies heavily on fundraising and community support.
The Challenge Ahead
To raise funds and awareness, we’re taking on a challenge that will really push us outside of our comfort zone — a 50km walk in under 24 hours.
We’ll be putting in the miles, the effort, and probably a fair bit of sweat along the way. It’s going to be a real physical and mental challenge, but we’re determined to push ourselves and complete it to raise as much as we can for Bucks Activity Project.
Every donation, no matter the size, will help make a real difference.
