Journey of Compassion is a UK registered charity dedicated to supporting mental wellbeing through compassion, community, and the wisdom of Sikhi in an open and accessible way. We believe that no one should have to face life's challenges alone. Our mission is to create safe, inclusive spaces where people can explore their wellbeing, strengthen their resilience, and cultivate a deeper sense of connection with themselves, others, and the Divine. We provide practical support through guided meditations, contemplation sessions, retreats, one-to-one wellbeing support, community initiatives, and educational resources. Our approach brings together timeless spiritual wisdom with practical tools that help people navigate challenges such as anxiety, stress, grief, relationships, life transitions, and emotional wellbeing. People from all backgrounds are welcome. Whether someone is seeking support during a difficult season, looking to deepen their spiritual journey, or simply searching for a compassionate community, Journey of Compassion offers a place where they can feel seen, heard, and supported. Through every project, our aim is to help people live with greater compassion, resilience, hope, and understanding for themselves, for others, and for the wider world.

Story

I’m committing to joining the mediation sessions with JOC for at least an hour for 40 days, to fundraise for JOC: a non profit very close to my heart. It would be a dream to see this group be able to grow and share these invaluable techniques, knowledge and memories with the wider community, regardless of faith and background.

I will be sharing personal reflections that arise to document my growth on social media (@artwr1t). I would love for people to share their thoughts, and to join in the mediation sessions too, even if that's just once!

Not only will mediation significantly improve our mental state to feel more grounded and improve our quality of life, but showing up as the best version of ourselves would benefit the wider society.

I deeply admire the free work JOC do to make priceless tools such as powerful mediation techniques and the spiritual wisdom of gurbani accessible and applicable to everyone. Thus, I would like to raise as much money possible to support the very much needed work they do.
