AMS is excited to be taking part in the Devon Business League, a community-driven initiative where local businesses come together to raise funds for charity through friendly competition. This year, the league is supporting Hospiscare, an outstanding local charity that provides specialist end-of-life care to people across Exeter, Mid, and East Devon.

As our part in the challenge, the AMS team will be competing in a 2-hour go-karting endurance race at Raceworld in Exeter, with the final heat taking place on Tuesday, 23rd September. We're putting our competitive spirit to good use and racing to make a difference.

Why We're Supporting Hospiscare

Hospiscare, has been caring for the Devon community for over 40 years. Their expert teams provide support to people living with life-limiting illnesses, offering care at home, in outpatient clinics, and at their specialist palliative care ward. Each year, they support around 2,200 people and their families, helping them navigate incredibly difficult times with compassion and dignity.

With only 20% of their funding coming from the NHS, Hospiscare must raise £10 million annually to continue delivering these services. Community fundraising efforts like the Devon Business League play a crucial role in making that possible.
