Story
Thanks for coming to this JustGiving page.
In January of this year, Debbie Skidmore was diagnosed with a Brain Tumour, and after a very difficult battle, sadly passed away in August.
On October 15th, Olly will be running his first Marathon, and raising money for Marie Curie, in memory of Debbie and on behalf of the Skidmore Family.
Marie Curie is a not-for-profit organisation, who provide care and support for people living with a terminal illness and their families, non of which would be possible without charitable donations and fund raising efforts.
Marie Curie were able to provide fantastic emotional, practical and psychological support to both Debbie and the whole Skidmore family (Tom, Dan & Andy) during a very difficult time.
Last year, their services helped more than 69,000 people living with a terminal illness and their families.
Without cash in reserve in the form of donations, they would be at risk of not being able to deliver their services in the future.
Our personal mission is to raise £2,000, which would enable so many more families to receive the same care and support as the Skidmore’s during such difficult times.
Any donations would be hugely welcomed!
Thank you in advance for your support!
