Ellis & I are running the Cardiff Half Marathon for #TeamCardiff to raise important funds for Cardiff University cancer research.

We've chosen to support cancer research as in the summer of 2023, my sister suffered an unexpected stroke caused by a blood clot in her brain (CVST) which she had an emergency thrombectomy to remove. The clot was caused by Essential Thrombocythemia (ET) - a rare blood cancer - but we didn't know it at the time. It was only in October 2024 that she received her ET diagnosis, after a year of continued illness, stress and anxiety.

So any pennies or pounds you can donate are greatly appreciated. Together, we can accelerate life-changing discoveries to improve prevention, diagnosis and outcomes for people (including my fab sister) living with cancer.
