HUGE specifically provides financial and resource support to the Nabugabo Community Learning Centre, a primary school set up in 2012, solely to provide free education and support to vulnerable and disadvantaged children, who would otherwise not be able to attend school. It is located in South West Uganda in a rural and very poor area approximately 150kms south west of Kampala. The social purpose of HUGE is to provide these children with an education through high quality teaching in a dynamic, caring and safe environment. The long term aim of HUGE is to support the children of NCLC on their educational journey and to enable them to realise their ambitions. Above all the welfare of the children is paramount.

Story

Hello!!

My name is Amy and on January 7th I am going to climb the highest single free-standing mountain above sea level in the world. Kilimanjaro, Tanzania, sits at a height of 5895m (19340.55ft). I am aiming to do this in 6 days. I am doing this all in aid of a charity very close to my heart: The HUGE Partnership (HUGE). HUGE stands for Helping UGanda Educate and supports disadvantaged and vulnerable children that would otherwise not have an access to education. HUGE funds a beautiful primary school in a very rural and deprived area in Nabugabo, Masaka, SW Uganda (Nabugabo Community Primary School, NCPS). There are 135 children at the primary school. HUGE does not stop there, as it also ensures that once the children have finished primary school, they are funded and supported through further education too.

Importantly, this challenge is fully self funded and any donations made will go straight to HUGE and help to fund all of the brilliant things HUGE are doing.

I and everyone at HUGE and the Nabugabo community will be extremely greatful for any donation at all.
