How has this happened!? I’m taking part in Strictly Inverness 2026! My children will testify I'm not a good dancer and this is putting me out of my comfort zone, big style! But after ill health and cancer has affected several close friends and family members in the past couple of years, I am honoured to have this opportunity to support the wonderful Highland Hospice.

I don't really know what I'm letting myself in for, but my commitment will be huge. I'm expected to fundraise to the best of my ability, secure a corporate sponsor for my sparkly outfit and attend three one-hour training sessions every week from January to May to prepare for the big performances. Yikes!

When the time comes, I’ll be stepping out onto the dancefloor in front of a panel of judges (including a famous face from the Strictly stage), receiving live scores, and performing to an audience of over 600 people! Double yikes!
