Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the leading charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Back in January (2025) I some how did some damage to my shoulder - Rotator Cuff Tear - very painful and it stopped me from doing alot of things, my other half said at one point its like my arm/shoulder has had a stroke and that I needed to re-train my mind & body to get it to work again....

Well with the help I got from a local physiotherapist after our GP gave me the wrong exercises to do! I now have at least 90% movement back in my arm which is great.

So I know how important a physiotherapist is to those who have lost movement in there arms or legs etc cos without the one who helped me I know my arm wouldn't be usable today if I didn't get the right help.

So that is why starting in January I'm gonna start my steps again and get my health back to where it was before my R.C.T. If you would like to show some support then please give even if its a pound that will all add up to help or the other way of help is to share my link that to is a great way to show support.

Many Thanks Amy-Elizabeth x
