Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance is Scotland’s only charity-funded air ambulance service. We rely on public support to keep flying and responding to time-critical emergencies wherever they occur in Scotland. No one in Scotland should die because help can't get there in time. With your support, we can be there when people need us.

Last year I unfortunately became acutely unwell while at Corrour. My only way to safety and survival was by helicopter straight to hospital for emergency surgery. I was so extremely grateful for the arrival of the helicopter and crew along with their care and support in the immediate professional assessment of the situation. Their speedy response saved my life. And I have made a full recovery. I can’t begin to describe how grateful I and my family are.

The helicopter and crew came to my families assistance later in the year following a road accident. My son was safely transported to critical care in Glasgow. Getting him to the right place at the right time. He has continued to make a full recovery.

I have been fundraising for this essential service since requiring their service. Janet and I felt we wanted to do something more, we hope you all can join us on the 20th for a special coffee morning, x
