This Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, I'm holding an Elevenses at 11am to raise some dough and help continue to fund life-saving research, raise awareness and support for those affected by ovarian cancer. We lost our mum to ovarian cancer in 2016 and she could still be with us today if the GP had recognised her symptoms as ovarian cancer. My grandmother died in her 50's of the same disease and my mum's symptoms and family history should have been a red flag to her GP.

Every £50 raised means Target Ovarian Cancer can train six GPs on best practice for early diagnosis, so that more people are diagnosed as soon as possible and bring us all one step closer to a better and brighter future for mums, daughters, sisters, grandmas, family and friends affected by ovarian cancer.
