Albie and Amy's fundraiser for UK Sepsis Trust

Amy Gelling is raising money for UK Sepsis Trust

Team: Albie and Amy - raising money for Stroke Association and The UK Sepsis Trust

Fundraising activities 2025 - Albie and Amy

Sepsis accounts for 48,000 deaths annually in the UK, that’s more than breast, bowel and prostate cancer put together. Sepsis is what happens when our immune system overreacts to an infection. Symptoms initially present as flu like but can rapidly deteriorate into a life threatening condition.

Story

Albie and I are aiming to raise £1000 for two charities during the rest of 2025, starting with Albie completing the Mini Parish Walk in July, followed by me completing the End to End walk again in September (it’s been a while….) Then we will work out what our next challenge is!

We are raising money for two causes who support people whose lives are affected by Stroke and Sepsis. We have chosen to support the Stroke Association and The UK Sepsis Trust, who both have a presence on the Isle of Man. We would be very grateful for any contributions as these causes are close to our hearts and they continue to take part in life changing research.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read our page.

This page is to raise half the funds for The UK Sepsis Trust but we have a ‘Team’ set up so you can choose to give to one or both causes, our pages should be linked to the Team.

Thanks again!
