Story

Rohan is a friend of mine, who happens to have T1 diabetes. I am raising money to make up for all the jokes I make about Rohan’s diabetes. Jokes aside, a lot of people in my life have been affected by diabetes including my wonderful Granny Colleen, and my honorary Grandma Daggi, so, even beyond Rohan, this is a cause very close to home.

Most of you will know that before this year I would consider myself basically allergic to running, and a year ago if you said I was going to run a half marathon (or literally even a 5k) I would not have believed you. But here we are. I have overcome my phobia as well as some pretty heavy knee-dislocation-related trauma to get my training underway, so even if you don’t donate I would appreciate your personal congratulations as this is pretty mammoth for me.

But it’s a great cause, so please do consider donating. Love to you all
