Story

Hi everyone! 🩷

I’m taking part in the Mighty Stride to help raise money and awareness for Brain Injury Grampian.

This charity is very close to my heart because my uncle Johnny has been severely affected by epilepsy, which has had a huge impact on his mobility and daily life. He can no longer walk unaided, and it really got me thinking about how fortunate I am to be able to take on this challenge. I know if I was strong enough to push a wheelchair for 18 miles, he would be right there beside me doing it too.

Brain Injury Grampian has been an incredible support not only for Johnny, but for our whole family. They organise carers’ days out and provide opportunities for families to connect with others facing similar challenges. Seeing my grandmother able to unwind, feel supported, and spend time with people who truly understand means more than I can put into words.

I would be so grateful for any donations, no matter how small. And if you’re unable to donate, even sharing this post would mean the world to me. Thank you so much for your support 🩷
