Amy's fundraiser for Epilepsy Action

Walk 50 Miles in February 2025 for Epilepsy Action · 1 February 2025 to 28 February 2025 ·
During lockdown, my niece was diagnosed with epilepsy—a life-changing moment for her and our family. She’s incredibly brave, strong, and resilient, but epilepsy is so much more than what people think. It’s unpredictable, life-altering, and, at times, dangerous.
Epilepsy is a common condition, yet so many know so little about it. It affects not just individuals but families, and the misunderstanding and stigma only add to the challenge.
That’s why my mum, sister and I are supporting Epilepsy Action, a charity that’s breaking down barriers, providing vital support, and creating a world without limits for those affected.
Although this is a 50 mile walking challenge, I’m happy to be nominated to do different types of miles to make it up (if it’s safe, appropriate and raises more awareness and donations) like 2 miles on a ski reg, rower, assault bike, C2 bike, running etc!
Epilepsy says stop. We say go. Please join us in raising awareness and supporting this important cause. Together, we can make a difference.
