We are raising money for an amazing charity The MS Trust (Multiple Sclerosis) by doing a sky dive aghhhhhh!!
My best friend who I have known since secondary school and grown up together got diagnosed with MS in 2009 after having many symptoms leading up. The first time I saw her after having a relapse was like seeing a person who had gone from this crazy, bubbly and quite frankly bonkers personality to someone I didn’t recognise at all as she struggled to walk or talk!! It still breaks my heart now seeing someone so close to you in such a different way but this is what MS does to you.
She is a brilliant Mum of 2 , business woman and has the most amazing, supportive husband who I have also known for 36 years and it was his and his charities idea to do the sky dive and they asked if we wanted to take part to raise money for this incredible charity. Jo is on medication for the rest of her life to control this but MS can change someone’s mobility forever and also shorten a life, which also affects all of their family and friends around them too.
To say I will be out of my depth doing this sky dive is an understatement as in my older age (lol) I have gained a fear of heights so overcoming this is a massive step for me too but I am so determined to do this for my bestie and raise as much money as we can.
Adrian ,my husband will also be doing the sky dive (and will probably have to drag me on the plane) so we really appreciate any money you have to go towards this just giving page 🙏 even if it’s £2 it will make such a HUGE difference to so many lives like my friend Jo’s.
You only have one shot at life so make it a good one!
Love you all and appreciate all of the love and support. 🙏 🙏
