We must be mad… but we’re doing it again! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

After completing last year’s Great North Run and raising money for such an incredible cause, Amy, Ange and Shaun have decided to lace up their trainers once more and take on the challenge again this year.

We are proud to be running for the same fantastic charity, in memory of Amy’s uncle, Sir Bobby Robson, and in support of the Robson family and the amazing work the charity continues to do.

There will no doubt be plenty of training, sore legs and moments where we question why we signed up again, but it will all be worth it.

Any donation, no matter how big or small, would be hugely appreciated and will help support a cause that means so much to us.

Sir Bobby Robson launched his Foundation to help find more effective ways to detect and treat cancer, after a request for help from his oncologist Professor Ruth Plummer. She was treating Sir Bobby as he faced cancer for the fifth and what he knew would be the final time.

She needed to raise £500,000 to equip a new cancer drug trials centre at the Northern Centre for Cancer Care in Newcastle upon Tyne and asked him if he knew anyone who might like to donate.

Sir Bobby responded by launching a charity to get the money she needed. He described it as like being at the helm of a team again. What he called his last and greatest team.
