We are a team of 10 gastroenterologists from Ninewells Hospital in Dundee. Not so long ago, a close friend and colleague was diagnosed with myeloma and has required a stem cell transplant. Myeloma UK is a fantastic charity which provides invaluable support and advice to people with myeloma and their family, as well as funding vital research into this condition.

We decided to take the plunge and run the Dundee Half Marathon in July to raise money for this cause which is close to our hearts. With the exception of one or two, we are all running 'novices' so this is kind of a big deal!
