Amy Langmead is raising money for Dr Kershaw's Hospice

Dr Kershaw's Strictly 2025 · 28 February 2025 ·

On Friday 28th February 2025 we are holding our own version of Strictly Dance to raise vital funds for Dr Kershaw's Hospice. Themed 'A Night in the Musicals' our dancers will take to the floor with their partner to compete for the Glitterball Trophy.

Story

Sooooo I decided to do something a bit wild before I turn 40 but didn’t fancy a jump out of a plane, so I decided to apply to perform in front of a live audience and have my dancing ‘skills’ judged!!! Ha ha…. Not sure what I was thinking when I applied… mid life crisis maybe!!!

Anyway, I am thrilled to announce that I was actually chosen to participate in Dr Kershaw's Strictly 2025, a spectacular sporting event set to take place on Friday, February 28th, 2025. This exhilarating competition will push all of us out of our comfort zones, but it's all for an incredible cause - raising funds for Dr Kershaw's Hospice.

Alongside nine other couples, I will be showcasing my dance ‘skills’ at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in Oldham, in front of a live audience and a panel of esteemed judges, all vying for the prestigious Glitterball Trophy. To ensure we deliver a captivating performance, we'll be refining our moves under the guidance of a local dance school.

I feel so lucky to have been chosen and can’t wait to support Dr Kershaw’s; they are so amazing and do some amazing work. ❤️

Your generous support would mean the world to me as I strive to raise as much as possible for Dr Kershaw's Hospice. Every little helps 🙏

Thank you for being part of my inspiring journey and I sorry in advance for any dancing update spam over the next few weeks 😂❤️

Lots of love Amy xxx
