We are taking part in The Saint's Way Trek 2025 in aid of Cornwall Hospice Care.

I lost my mum to cancer in 2005 after a two year battle with lung and then brain cancer. My mum was the most amazing Doctor and lived the healthiest of lifestyles, never smoking in her life and yet was diagnosed with the most aggressive form of lung cancer. After going into recovery after 18 months of chemotherapy and radiotherapy she was given the all clear, to then be told 5 weeks later she had cancer in the brain. Mum never wanted to lose her brain, the one thing she relied on to get her dream role of being a GP and helping others.

Prior to this, I also lost my sister, who after over a decade struggling with her mental health, took her own life. I have devoted my life to giving back, through my work as a psychotherapist.

These tragedies have made me who I am today. I want to help others and hope this walk will raise enough money to continue the amazing work the hospice do to support patronages and families going through the big c.

The support we received from the hospice was incredible. The memories will stay with me forever, they gave everything and more at our time of need.
