Story
At the age of 42, I am in the process of being diagnosed with ADHD and Autism. This revelation has brought a sense of relief, as it explains the mental health challenges I have faced for so long. With this newfound understanding, I am determined to put support systems in place not only for myself but also for those around me. The journey has been very challenging but I’m so fortunate with the support I received from my boys, I’m extremely lucky and so thankful they are in my life!
I am acutely aware that there are many others out there who are yet to receive a diagnosis and are struggling in silence. The Centre for ADHD and Autism Support (CAAS) plays a crucial role in supporting, educating, and empowering individuals and families affected by these conditions. Their tireless efforts have impacted over 5000 lives in the past year alone, but the demand for their services continues to grow, presenting ongoing financial challenges.
Therefore I will be participating in the Windsor Half Marathon on September 29, 2024, I aim to raise funds to contribute to CAAS's mission. Your support is invaluable and will directly impact the lives of those who need it most. Together, we can spread awareness and improve the lives of individuals affected by ADHD and Autism.
Your donation will help me reach my target amount of £1,000.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
