Story
This November, Emily and I have challenged ourselves to take on our second HYROX doubles in Dublin to help raise money for people living with cancer.
HYROX combines both running & functional workout stations, where participants complete a 1km run followed by 1000m ski, a second 1km run into 102kg sled push for 50m, a third km run followed by 78kg sled pull for 50m, a fourth km run followed by 80m burpee broad jumps, a fifth km run followed by 1000m rowing, a sixth km run followed by 200m farmers carry with 16kg kettle bells, a seventh km run followed by 100m of lunges with a 10kg sandbag and a final 1km run ending with 100 4kg wall balls!
Emily and I have a £800 goal to raise in total and so I’d be very grateful if you could help me reach my £400 pledge, which could run the Macmillan Support Line phone service for 1 hour.
There are currently over 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today. It's Macmillan's goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis, but they can't do this without donations from people like you.
Thank you!
