As many of you may already know, our world turned upside down when my dad very recently passed away. I have registered to take part in The Great Manchester Race 10K to raise money for the Epilepsy Society charity alongside my sister. I am attempting to complete this run the best I can (albeit struggling and sweaty) in his memory as both my father and I had this condition and for the fact the run is on his actual birth date. This will be the first birthday of his since his passing. It feels like a sign.
