Story

Every day, people die without the comfort, care, and dignity they deserve. Everyone deserves to die well, and our family and friends deserve support as they navigate the complexities and discomfort of grief. Marie Curie has been there for decades, providing support to those who need it, and today they are there for people no matter the illness.
Many of us will know someone who has received the care and kindness of a Marie Curie nurse, and with support Marie Curie can be there in the decades to come too. I was lucky enough to visit a Marie Curie hospice this year and see first hand the dedication and respect that drives their work - doing everything possible to make sure that patients and families have glimmers of joy in the toughest moments.
