Help Us Create Special Days for Seriously Ill Young Adults
I am taking part in a sponsored team trek in support of The Willow Foundation, a remarkable charity dedicated to providing special days for seriously ill young adults aged 16 to 40. These special days offer a much-needed respite from the daily challenges and treatments faced by these individuals and their families.
The Willow Foundation was established by former Arsenal goalkeeper Bob Wilson and his wife, Megs, in memory of their daughter Anna, who tragically passed away from cancer at the age of 31. Inspired by Anna's life and legacy, the foundation has touched the lives of thousands, creating lasting memories and moments of joy for those who need it most.
About the Hike:
Distance: 24 miles
Date: 14th & 15th September
Location: Swanage to Durdle Door
Why Your Support Matters:
Every donation helps the Willow Foundation provide more special days to those who need them. Whether it's a trip to a dream destination, a family day out, or a chance to meet a hero, these experiences offer hope, happiness, and precious memories.
How You Can Help:
Donate: Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference.
Share: Spread the word about this cause and encourage others to support.
Join: If you're feeling adventurous, consider joining us on the hike or planning your own fundraising event.
Together, we can make a difference and bring joy to the lives of young adults facing serious illnesses.
Thank you for your support!

A little about The Willow Foundation
At Willow we believe in quality of life and quality of time. Willow is the only national charity working with seriously ill young adults aged 16 to 40 to fulfil uplifting and unforgettable Special Days. This year we hope to fulfil 1,200 Special Days – a day to anticipate, to share and to remember when happy memories really do count. Sadly for some, it’s a last chance to fulfil a dream with the people that really matter. Thankfully for many more their Special Day is an important opportunity to put much-needed normality back into living.
