Story
In February 2025, Claire Ford and I are taking on the challenge of a lifetime: climbing Mount Kilimanjaro! Standing at 5,895 metres, Kilimanjaro is the highest free-standing mountain in the world. We’re pushing ourselves to the limit and using this opportunity to raise money for Cheltenham Animal Shelter.
Cheltenham Animal Shelter cares for around 650 animals each year. Many have found themselves homeless due to changes in family circumstances, while others have suffered abuse and need urgent medical care. Some have been abandoned or are strays, desperately in need of help. Alongside rescuing and rehoming animals, the shelter also runs a pet food bank, offers support to pet owners, and provides animal welfare education programmes within the community. As the number of animals in need continues to rise, the shelter’s work has never been more crucial.
Each year, the shelter needs to raise £1 million to fund its operations and sustain its vital work. We want to do our part by raising funds for food, medical treatment, and a safe haven where animals can find their second chance.
We understand that times are tough for many people, and any support you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a meaningful difference.
Please support us by donating and sharing this page. Together, we can make a real impact on the lives of animals in need and help Cheltenham Animal Shelter continue its important work.
