I'm taking part in 'Roon the Toon' 10km run in Kilmarnock to raise funds for New Laigh Kirk.

This is my first ever 10km race, something that I wouldn't have been able to do even a year ago.

In 2019, I had pneumonia that left my lungs in a weakened state, but with consistent training over a year, I've managed to enhance my lung health and better my over all health too.

What better way to celebrate this journey by helping to raise funds for my local church that will offer children and young people a sports themed summer club!
