Story

Thank you so much for visiting my JustGiving page.

This summer I will set out to complete my biggest challenge to date!

On 20th June 2024 I will set out to complete the UK 3 peaks and cycle between each one, from Snowden to Ben Nevis via Scarfell Pike, covering over 700km, all in less than 72 hours.

The challenge, which I have coined Peaks and Pedals 2024, will be in honour of my late cousin Charlotte, who would have celebrated her 23rd birthday this year. Charlotte very sadly passed away when she was only 2 years old due a rare genetic disorder. At the time, I was only 5 and consequently the passing of Charlotte was one of my earliest childhood memories. The legacy that Charlotte left for me however, even being a small child, was to seize life and be grateful for every day. This is something that hope to continue into adulthood. As such I hope to honour Charlotte’s legacy by raising £30,000 for the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital charity before the time I am 30.

The Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital charity is a beacon of hope for so many families across Manchester and the surrounding areas, whom are going through the most unthinkable times. Not only do they help to provide care to those children who so desperately need it, they also act as a shoulder to lean on for the families, like my own who experienced the charities support first hand. It is for these reasons I have chosen to raise money for this is INCREDIBLE charity and importantly to thank them for the kindness and support when Charlotte was ill.

Your kind donations and generosity, as always, will be so greatly appreciated.

Much love
