HCPT is a Trust that takes children and young adults with disabilities, additional needs or who are disadvantaged or vulnerable for whatever reason. Group 199 is an East London group that’s part of HCPT. We travel to Lourdes for a week at Easter with the aim of giving our VIPs a brilliant week away!

It’s always an incredible week but a huge amount of time and resources go in to ensuring it can happen. Each helper raises their own fare but the group have to raise essential funds to cover the cost of each child/young adult’s fare (over £1000 each). There’s also the cost of group clothing and activities such as day trips to the beach, mountains or zoo. Each day we do cafe trips and as you can imagine, the cost of drinks and ice cream for a group of 30 is costly! Each year the group require thousands of pounds to cover these costs and we hugely appreciate any donation people can make.
