Betsy’s Story

In March 2024, Betsy was diagnosed with breast cancer. After an operation and a course of radiotherapy, she was given the all-clear in June.

Now, she’s raising money for Breast Cancer Now to support their work and help others going through similar experiences. Every ten minutes, someone in the UK is told they have breast cancer — and charities like this play a vital role in supporting patients and funding research.

Betsy believes awareness is just as important as fundraising. She wants every woman to take a moment to check in with their body. Early detection can save lives — it saved hers.
