'Paws for Mind' Sponsored Dog Walk 2026

Amy Tanner is raising money for South Kent Mind
In memory of Abi

Paws for Mind · 28 June 2026

Dogs help motivate us to get out and move – which is great for our physical and mental health! ‘Paws for Mind’ is a fun and friendly sponsored dog walk along Hythe Canal in aid of South Kent Mind, your local mental health charity.

Story

Our dogs have an incredible way of helping us through life. They encourage us to get outside, stay active, meet new people, and take a moment to breathe — all things that can have such a positive impact on both our physical and mental wellbeing. 🐾

That’s why Tate and I will be joining South Kent Mind on Sunday 28th June at 10:30am for a scenic walk along Hythe Canal, celebrating the special role our four-legged friends play in our lives while raising vital funds for local mental health support.

Mental health affects so many people, often more than we realise, and every step we take — and every pound raised — helps ensure nobody in the South Kent area has to face their struggles alone.

We would absolutely love for anyone to come along and join us for the walk. Whether you bring your dog, walk with friends, or simply come to support the cause, it would mean so much. If we manage to raise £20, Tate will even earn his very own Mind bandana! 💙

This walk is especially close to my heart, and I’ll be thinking of many loved ones as we walk, including my dear friend Abi.

Thank you so much for any support, donations, or shares — they truly make a difference. 🐾 X
