Hi I am Amy , I am a full time wheelchair user, and you may have seen me on social media. I am so grateful for the support of my social media family and I have now decided to use my platform to help give back to others.

I was told I would never be able to use a manual wheelchair, so of course I saw this as an extra challenge 😉 In March this year I purchased my first manual chair and after a few falls and sore hands I am now further pushing (rolling) myself to complete the Great North Run 2024. I will have a runner joining alongside me, for safety reasons and just in case I need an extra shove here or there along the way.

Please help me raise funds for Canine Partners. Their amazing dogs bring a greater independence and quality of life to their partners, offering security, companionship, and practical help with everyday household tasks. They are trained to help with everyday tasks such as opening and closing doors, unloading the washing machine, picking up dropped items, pressing buttons and switches and fetching help in an emergency. Their life-transforming dogs also provide psychological and social benefits including increased independence, confidence, social interaction and self-esteem.

Imagine if every one of my followers only gave £1 what a difference we could help make to the life of a disabled person. ❤️

£5 -could help pay for a tasty pack of treats to help train the puppies

£10 - could pay for a set of grooming equipment for a dog in training

£25 - could help pay for ongoing support and a 24 hour hotline for the partnerships

£50- could help provide a week of care and training for a dog living on site during advanced training

£100- could pay for dog food and insurance for a dog whilst in advanced training

£350- could pay for essential equipment for a puppy starter pack
