Amy's Day - a Lorcana fundraiser in memory of Amy Potts

Richard Foulston is raising money for University Hospitals Birmingham Charity
In memory of Amy Potts

Amy's Day · 26 July 2026

University Hospitals Birmingham Charity supports four hospitals in Birmingham - Queen Elizabeth, Heartlands, Good Hope, and Solihull. We support the patients, families and staff at our hospitals by providing 'added extras' that are over and above those which are provided by the NHS.

Story

Amy Potts, a beloved member of the Black Dragon Games Lorcana community, passed away earlier this year. We will be hosting a free charity event in her name, and invite Lorcana players everywhere to join us and help to raise money for Edmonds Transplant Centre.

Amy Potts was a much loved member of our community. She was known for meeting every day and every challenge with a smile, and brought no end of joy to those around her.

Amy suffered for many years of her life from a rare form Autoimmune Hepatitis that attacked her liver. She received a liver transplant in 2025, but unfortunately the transplant was less successful than hoped. Amy's health took a downward turn in early 2026 and sadly she passed away on 10th April 2026.

Amy will be forever missed by her friends and family. As a community, we want to come together and honour her memory by raising money for those who cared for her. Amy's family have selected the Birmingham Hospital Edmonds Transplant Centre as one of the charities that they would like us to support.

Please give generously to support the Edmonds Transplant Centre so that they can continue to provide their vital life-saving treatments for patients in need of organ transplants.
