Story
Meet Amy and Theo
Amy:
For almost a decade, I’ve had the privilege of volunteering as a youth mentor with Surrey Care Trust. Over the years, I’ve seen first-hand the incredible difference this charity makes in people’s lives, so what better way to celebrate and support its work than by taking on the challenge of walking a marathon across the Surrey 5 Peaks? And, of course, I couldn’t resist recruiting my equally amazing sister, Theo, to join me for the adventure!
Theo:
I’m taking on this walking marathon to support my sister, Amy, and the charity she has dedicated so much time to over the years. Surrey Care Trust does truly inspiring work, and this challenge gives me the chance to support a fantastic cause while spending some quality time with my sister. I’m proud to be walking every step of the way alongside her.
Why We’re Walking
We’ll quite literally be walking our socks off for a very special charity.
For more than 40 years, Surrey Care Trust has been helping people across Surrey overcome disadvantage and build brighter futures. The charity works with vulnerable young people, families facing challenges, unemployed adults, and people experiencing isolation—providing mentoring, skills training, family support, and confidence-building opportunities that create lasting change.
What makes Surrey Care Trust so special is its belief that everyone deserves the chance to thrive. Through practical support, encouragement, and opportunity, SCT helps people develop the skills, confidence, and resilience they need to create positive futures for themselves and their communities.
Every donation, no matter the size, will help someone move from challenge to opportunity, from isolation to connection, and from uncertainty to hope.
Thank you for taking the time to read our page, and for any support you’re able to give.
