I am running the Half Marathon at the Edinburgh Marathon Festival on May 28th 2023 and my chosen Charity is Forth Valley Chorus. I joined the Chorus last September and since then it has been an absolutely amazing experience and it is helping me develop new musical skills. I am really excited to join the Chorus and taking part in The International Competition/2023.

Forth Valley Chorus is a women's Barbershop a Capella Chorus and is the current UK & Netherlands Chorus Champions of Sweet Adelines International, an international barbershop organisation.

FVC will be representing the UK & Netherlands at the International Chorus Semi-finals in Louisville, Kentucky in November 2023. FVC will be competing against barbershop choruses from all over the world.

In 2019, FVC became the first UK chorus ever to reach the international Top 10, and they hope to do even better in 2023!

Your support will help FVC meet the costs of competing abroad, and will help ensure that as many members as possible can attend the competition.
