Story
My daughter, Marta, has had cancer. She started experiencing symptoms last May, and was diagnosed in August. It was a unique and rare tumour in an unusual place. However, the team at the Royal Marsden (and St George's!) did their best, and today she is cancer-free. Cured. Saved. We are so lucky. She is happy, so we are too! The work that the Royal Marsden team has done with her has been amazing. Not only the treatment, but also the care provided by the nurses and doctors. We'll be forever grateful.
The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money to improve the lives of people affected by cancer. We ensure that the hospital's world-leading nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the best possible care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world.
We fund state-of-the-art equipment and groundbreaking research, and we create the very best patient environments. We will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
