The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions such as Alopecia.

The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK and relies solely on the generosity of its wonderful supporters who help the charity give Hair and Hope to so many children and young people with cancer each year.

Losing hair can be a traumatic experience for young people, through the loss of self-esteem and identity. As someone who strongly associates their hair with their self-esteem, shaving my head is a huge deal! On the one hand, I intend for this to be an empowering experience which will enable me to fully embrace myself irrespective of how long or thick my hair is. On the other hand, I will be donating my hair to the Little Princess Trust to hopefully empower others with what I'm positive will be a beautiful real hair wig.

It costs £550 to provide 1 real hair wig. Please donate (and Gift Aid if possible!) as much as you can to this wonderful charity. It would mean so much to me and many others! Thank you.
