1000 children in Inverclyde will not have a holiday, not be clothed properly and feel marginalised. Britain is the sixth largest economy in the world with more millionaires than ever,so why have 330,000 food parcels been handed out to hungry children, with Inverclyde accounting for 4000 of these parcels. It’s time to think Mission statement: Tackle Child Poverty Promote Equality Stimulate Children Encourage Participation Poverty can have a profound impact on the child, their family, and the rest of society. It often sets in motion a deepening spiral of social exclusion, creating problems in education, employment, mental and physical health and social interaction.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year we are raising money for Children in Poverty. A vital service that provides some normality and comfort to local kids in our area. The support Pat and his team give to vulnerable families is second to none and we would love to help in any way we can.

With the cost of living crisis only getting worse parents across Scotland and the UK will more than likely have to choose between heating the house or buying the kids presents. That's where Pat comes in and lends a helping hand with providing food for over the festive period and toys to simply let the kids, be kids!

We understand that this time of year is already tough financially for all of us but if we put all our spare money together we can make a slight difference this Christmas.

Thanks for supporting us and we wish you all have a Merry Christmas.
