Anam Cara Camino 2024 · 28 April 2024

2024 Camino Challenge to raise funds for Anam Cara.

Story

Hello and thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

On the 28th of April this year, I will be setting off to trek the last 120km of the Camino Portuguese from Oia to Santiago de Compostela.

I will be joining other bereaved parents and supporters of Anam Cara over the week to remember our children and raise vital funds for the charity. The practical and emotional support provided to bereaved parents is invaluable to an ongoing relationship with our children and strength in shared experiences.

I dedicate this trek to my brave and beautiful son Ethan, who died suddenly just a few days before his 7th birthday 🩵

About Anam Cara:

The death of a son or daughter is devastating and feelings of isolation, loneliness and despair will often follow. Anam Cara supports bereaved parents throughout Ireland, both North and South.

All services are free of charge and available to ALL parents after the death of a child, regardless of the age or circumstances of death.

Anam Cara supports over 2,400 bereaved parents annually and the money raised from this challenge will go towards supporting the work of Anam Cara.
