Story
Hello,
As most of you know, in May I am running the Spartan Race with Sophia, Michael and Lucia (my children) while Tim (my husband) is the named driver for the event.
It takes place in London. I have never taken part in this challenge before, henceforth I am running (only!) the 5km obstacle course. The children are running the 40km obstacle course, split into 3 levels over 36 hours. Please ask me if you would like to know more.
My background is in nursing, so when we were deciding which charity to support, we all felt the MSF was the most appropriate. With so many conflicts raging around the world, this charity is vital to support for its medical work in the most affected places. Please read on for more information about the MSF.
Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is the world's leading medical humanitarian aid organisation.
We provide emergency assistance to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics and natural or man-made disasters, without discrimination and irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation.
We work in over 70 countries and go to the places where others cannot or choose not to go.
