Daisy and the Through the Eyes of a Child team's fundraising walk

Kate Wyatt is raising money for Age UK West Sussex, Brighton and Hove

10 lap walk at Anchorage Care Home · 16 June 2026

We help thousands of local older people, their families and carers, every year by providing support services, information, activities and events to help reduce loneliness, isolation and poverty.

Story

Hi, my name is Daisy and I am 11 years old. I wanted to raise money for Age UK because dementia is something that affects lots of families and I think more people should talk about it and understand it better.

I am doing a sponsored walk with my friends and some of the stars from the Through the Eyes of a Child programme to help raise money for this amazing charity.

After the walk there will be cakes, sweeties, and drinks for sale, and everyone is welcome to come along. We are all going to be dressing up too, so it should be really fun.

Please donate if you can, even a small amount can help. Thank you so much for supporting me and helping Age UK.

Age UK West Sussex Brighton & Hove helps local older people to live well and make the most of later life. By providing information and advice, practical support, social activities and help for those living with or caring for someone with dementia, we reduce poverty, isolation and loneliness, and improve health and well-being, enabling older people to remain independent for longer.
