Blue Monday has been known as apparently the “most depressing” day of the year. For people that suffer from depression on a daily and unending basis, this is an unwelcome and, frankly, demeaning “holiday”.

To combat this, we are hosting a Blue Bake Sale in the Somerville office, where our own ANDis are baking some lovely treats, and encouraging people to buy them by donating to Health In Mind.

Health in Mind is a charity promoting positive mental health and wellbeing. Their unique mix of services includes befriending projects, information, counselling services and specialised trauma support. By providing a wide range of services to support people, they make a positive difference to their lives. People who use Health in Mind's services also help to shape them. This ensures that they continue to identify and meet need using creative and innovative approaches. Thanks to fundraising and donations these vital services enable more than 3,000 people every year to access the help they need.
