A huge thank you to each and every one of you that has sponsored me and helped raise an incredible amount of money for this wonderful charity ❤️

I have managed to secure a last minute place at the Southend Half Marathon on 14th June 2026.

I am hoping to raise funds for a charity very close to the heart of my family, The Peaceful Place in Basildon. This non-profit organisation provides support for people living with young or early onset dementia. It provides creative, therapeutic and supportive activities that encourage independence, purpose and enjoyment in a safe, inclusive environment. The centre relies on volunteers and local donations to fund a range of fun and engaging activities from art, music, sports and cooking with regular organised trips.

Through its “living our best life” ethos this community led centre promotes joy, dignity and participation in everyday life.

I would be extremely grateful for any donation you are able to make. I will get these little legs running to thank those that help and support my sister-in-law Julie and all the other people that benefit from this wonderful charity and the work of its volunteers.
