Run by a dedicated team of volunteers, the shop helps fund the essential services provided by Woody’s Lodge, a charity committed to improving the lives of those who have served in the Armed Forces. From mental health support and housing advice to social activities and peer connection, the Lodge offers a safe and welcoming space where individuals can find the help they need.

It’s not just about raising money—it’s about being visible in the community, offering a friendly face, and letting people know they’re not alone.

Every purchase made at the shop directly supports the charity’s work, helping to sustain the Wrexham hub and expand its reach across North Wales.

The team is currently appealing for local support, including financial contributions because of getting absolutely NO support from Wrexham Council to reduce rent costs, ensuring more resources can go directly to those in need. The volunteers have even written to HRH The Prince of Wales for his support.
