On Sunday 13th September I will be taking part in the Great North Run. I will be running it in memory of Lee Hughes our gorgeous friend who sadly past away in March at the age of 57 after a brave battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

Lee was an amazing man, a devoted husband to Alison, Dad to Aimee and Grandad to Tilly and a friend to many.

With only 5 weeks training it won't be easy but the physical pain will be temporary, nothing like the pain that Alison, Aimee and Tilly have to bear on a daily basis as they navigate the loss of their hero.

Hopefully we can raise as much money as possible for Teesside Hospice a local charity that helps families in the darkest hour and hopefully help me through the 13.1 miles.
