Go Purple for PH! · 1 November 2024

We are the only UK charity dedicated to supporting those affected by the rare disease pulmonary hypertension. Our mission is to provide support and information, fund research and promote awareness to help people live better lives with PH.

Story

After a fantastic Walk for Hope last year, Abbie is back raising awareness for PHA UK, who provides support, friendship, and hope for people living with pulmonary hypertension.

This year’s theme is #TogetherForPH and by joining forces on Friday 1st November, the strength in our PH community will shine.

Abbie is playing her part by raising the profile of PH through her favourite colour, purple. She will Go Purple for PH and will be challenging herself to see just how purple she can be!

Abbie, in all her purple accessories, will also be wheeling united with her family (and any friends who would like to join her), knowing that others around the nations will be doing the same. We will dedicate every step and every metre covered to people living with PH, showing we are always stronger together!

Finally, for every £1 raised, we will add a flag to the longest purple bunting we can create and hang it somewhere lovely for everyone to see. The more money we raise, the longer her bunting will be!

Thank you for supporting PH Day 2024 💜

Love Abbie xxx

Pulmonary Hypertension:

Pulmonary hypertension (PH) is rare, serious and misunderstood. It has a huge impact on people’s lives, and the PHA UK is dedicated to reducing that burden through support, advice, information and advocacy. They raise awareness and fund research to provide better treatments, with the hope of one day finding a cure for this devastating disease.

The PHA UK receives no government funding, so every penny donated plays a vital role in helping them support people to live better lives with PH.
