Sponsored Walk, Summer Fair 2024

St Stephen's is home to Hampstead hill School in their 150th and 70th anniversary years respectively.

Story

This is going to be a very exciting year for Hampstead Hill as we mark our 75th anniversary and our plans for celebrating this occasion are to open our new Prep School in September this year and repair and restore the main school gates on Pond Street – the very gates where it all began on the 4th of October 1949, and I was there!

These gates are in a bad way and need rescuing now so that they do not end up in a worse condition. The brick wall piers which contain the gate mechanism are crumbling because of the pressure on the gates and the gates themselves need professional restoration work.

We have the relevant permissions and specialists on hand and now we just need to raise the money to get this critical job done.

Fund-raising events planned include our annual Sponsored Walk in May for all the children in Pre-Reception and the Upper School, with a separately planned event for Early Years children, and a Summer Fair on the 6th of July, which you will hear more about shortly - please put the date in your diaries now, thank you.

As you are all part of our Hampstead Hill family we hope you will really want to be part of this challenging appeal and help us achieve this for our anniversary. Thank you.

We will be deeply grateful for both your donations and help in raising money through the events outlined.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your ongoing caring and support.
