Along with my wife, Ros Marshall, we'll both be walking the 60-miles of the "Forth & Clyde and Union Canal towpaths" - all the way from Bowling in the West Coast to the Lochrin Basin on the East Coast ... we're doing the walk, across 6-days, from Tuesday 2nd April 2024 through to Sunday 7th April 2024 :-)

The walk will coincide with both of us turning 60-years old [thus the 60-miles!] but much more importantly, we're undertaking the expedition to raise money for the wonderful, Edinburgh Union Canal Society (EUCS). The Society’s main physical base is the Ashley Terrace Boathouse, near Harrison Park in the Polwarth area of Edinburgh. EUCS aims to encourage the public use of those stretches of the Union Canal and its towpath lying in and near Edinburgh, informing and enthusing people about the educational, sporting, leisure and recreational pursuits offered by the canal and its surroundings.
