Story
Hello,
I am embarking on a personal challenge that holds great significance for me, as I aim to raise much-needed funds for the Douglas Macmillan Hospice. On January 24, 2026, I will be setting off to climb five magnificent volcanoes in Ecuador, South America. Over the course of 2.5 weeks, I will have the privilege of experiencing the breathtaking beauty of Ecuador while scaling Pasochoa (4200m), Riminahui (4721m), Illinizas Norte summit (5116m), Cotopaxi summit—the highest active volcano in the world at 5897m—and finally Chimborazo summit, Farthest point from the Earth's core and closest point to the sun at 6268m.
Though I have never visited Ecuador before, my previous fundraising experience in Argentina ignited a passion for South America and its wonders. In preparation for this adventure, I have been striving to maintain my fitness level, knowing that we all need challenges to push our limits and grow.
I invite you to join me on this journey by supporting the Douglas Macmillan Hospice. Your generous donations will make a significant impact on the lives of those who rely on their compassionate care. Please consider contributing whatever you can to this beloved charity.
Thank you for your support!
(First time I used AI, I actually sound clever for once!)
