20 minutes after this photo was taken, tragedy struck.

In November 2019 whilst out in the hills above Grasmere, the Lake District, one of my good friends suffered a sudden cardiac arrest (SCA).

Despite giving him CPR for 45 minutes until a helicopter could reach us & the medics providing a further 20 minutes, tragically, he couldn't be saved.

On July 29 - 30th myself and a small group of friends are doing the National 3 Peaks Challenge. Climbing Scotland's, England's and Wales's highest mountains (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike & Snowdon) within 24 hours. I'm doing this in memory of my great friend Stu who was tragically taken from us way too soon.

I'm raising money for the Langdale & Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team (LAMRT) who did a sterling job on that fateful day. Funded entirely by public donations, you can be confident that any money donated will directly contribute towards saving lives and assisting people in danger.
